An account takes a minute. Approval takes longer, and it should.
Signing up asks what you do, where you can work, and when. That is all. What comes after it is a separate process with a different purpose: making you someone a stranger can trust with their mother’s front door.
An account is not an approval. Nothing in Nuri can approve you automatically. A person at Nuri reviews your application and decides.

Your progress is counted off this list and nothing else. You will not be told you are most of the way there and then find days of checks in front of you.
How Nuri treats you
The parts that usually go wrong.
Availability, not a calendar
Weekdays, weekends, evenings, flexible. You are not asked to commit specific hours before you have seen a single job. Your real schedule is built out of what you actually accept.
You are never charged for promised work
Where an outside check costs money, you are told what it is and what it is for before anything happens. Paying for a check is never a payment for guaranteed work, and no payment buys an approval.
Nuri pays you
You invoice Nuri, not the family. Nobody is left standing in a kitchen asking a stranger for cash.
The work belongs to you
Completed visits, the families who ask for you again, the skills you are trusted with. Years of reliable work stop being invisible.
You are never accused by a machine
Nuri can flag something for a person to look at. It cannot suspend you, penalise you, or decide you did something wrong. A person does that, and the reason is recorded.
One account, both sides
Working through Nuri and arranging care for your own family are the same account. You never sign up twice.
Built for the phone you have
Nuri works on a slow connection and keeps working when it drops. Record a visit with no signal and it sends itself later.
Identity verification, credential checks and background clearance. These are part of how a Pro will be approved. They are not running yet, and they will be before Nuri opens.
